First post....The cast of characters...

Well, you know me. Next up is Betty, she had just arrived that day from the states and my boss, Jack.
This is my friend John, his girlfriend in pink and another friend on the left.

Then Waheed and Baba.....

Waheed is the houseboy (Jenny tried to upgrade him to a "Butler" to be more pc) and Baba is the cook for our house. We get a full spread cooked by him for breakfast (eggs, pancakes, toast, fresh squeezed oj, whatever we want), lunch and dinner. There are always soups, rice, lots of lamb and plenty of salad.... which is sort of vegetables arranged on a plate, but they're all there. All of the Afghans have Friday's off since it's their Holy Day. So on Thursday's Baba makes double meals to leave for us the next day.

These are just two little Kuchi girls that wander around on the site.

....and some sheep that also wander. This is Jenny's all time favorite picture.
